The Thrive Refuge Refugee Support Program provides funding to help refugees escape their conditions and gain access to musical education. We are proud to share that our team helped Oleksandr (Sasha) Luchkov escape Ukraine to Canada to continue his passion for piano.

In partnership with Shawnigan Lake School (Victoria, BC) and its Impact Scholarship Program, Sasha will be a scholar at Shawnigan for the 2023 Fall-Spring semester. Sasha is an incredibly talented pianist - we are confident that he will move on to top musical educational institutions following his graduation.

We also received the support of Aylex Thunder, a multi-talented entertainer, athlete, and creative entrepreneur who used his social platforms to document Sasha’s journey. Additionally, Ricky Zhang, the Prince of Travel, generously sponsored Sasha’s tickets to Canada.
